The much awaited Playstation VR will arrive in UK stores from October 2016. The new Virtual Reality system works with for PlayStation 4.
Sony has revealed that its headset will cost $399 in the US, roughly £285 in the UK (+ VAT). This price makes it cheaper by $200 than Facebook’s rival Oculus Rift and a staggering $400 cheaper than HTC’s Vive.
However the Playstation VR is seen as less advanced than its two competitors but it is generally accepted that it will outsell both due to the price and the popularity of the Playstation 4.
Apparently from the moment you put on the PlayStation VR you will experience games in an entirely new way that will take your games to a whole new level. As the centre of the action you will be living every detail of the new extraordinary worlds making you feel as if you are actually within the game itself, rather than a mere observer.
Its October arrival does mean though that it is arriving on the shelves some six months later than its original launch date which was the first half of 2016.
Some stores are already taking pre-orders for the Playstation VR, such as Amazon and The Hut.
