Asos Order System Crashes During Christmas Sales
Christmas shoppers looking to secure a bargain on the asos website or mobile app over the festive season have had a frustrating time. When trying to complete the purchase of one of their reduced items, they have been served up an error page instead of being allowed to checkout.
Asos are aware of the issue and are currently working on a resolution. Until the problem us resolved the only way to purchase the heavily reduced items appears to be over the phone by using our asos order number 0843 506 9493. Some items are reduced by up to 50% in the sale.
2014 Was a Difficult Year for Asos
The current issues with the asos website mark the end of a difficult trading year for asos. Asos have seen share prices dip by around 60% on the back of lower-than-expected growth and a strong pound oversees throughout 2014.
Following on from this, a devastating fire at their Barnsley distribution centre affected customers who had placed an Asos order and ultimately profits dipped. These were already declining for the first time in three years.
